How do I buy a book on PreownedBooks.ng?

Browse our listings by genre, location, or seller. Once you find a book you love, click “Buy Now” or follow the order instructions. The seller will contact you to confirm delivery.

Is delivery included in the price?

No. Delivery fee is not included in the book price. The seller will reach out to you after purchase with the delivery cost based on your location.

How do I pay for delivery?

Delivery is paid directly to the seller after they confirm the fee with you.

Are the books new or used?

All books are preowned but in great condition. Sellers are required to upload clear photos and a short video showing the book’s current state.

Can I return a book?

Returns are only allowed if the book you receive is significantly different from what was described or shown. Contact us within 24 hours of delivery to report any issues.

Who can sell on PreownedBooks.ng?

Anyone! Whether you’re a student, reader, collector, or bookstore — if you have quality books in good condition, you can sell them on our platform.

Is there a fee to list my books?

Yes, we charge a ₦2,000 non-refundable listing fee per seller to support marketing and platform maintenance.

What commission do you take?

We retain 25% commission on every successful sale. Sellers receive 75% of the sale amount after delivery is confirmed.

Who handles delivery?

You (the seller) are responsible for arranging delivery to the buyer. You must use a reliable delivery method and communicate the cost clearly.

When do I get paid?

You’ll receive payment once the buyer confirms that they’ve received the book in the described condition.

What kind of books can I list?

Fiction, non-fiction, academic, self-help, biographies, and more — as long as they are in good, readable condition with no significant damage.
